Excellent activities for non fishing guests: horseback rides, cattle drives, backpacking, hiking, canoeing, river rafting, camping, lake trips, windsurfing, fly fishing lessons, visits to Indian reservations and remote areas. Non-fishing wives and guests are also most welcome. This strategically located place offers the possibility of many different activities in Patagonia's best climate.

Fishing Lodge In Argentina - The crystal clear waters which cross the property such as the Quillén river, Quillén  lake,  Malalco  spring creek and La Ofelia creek are home to rainbow, brown  & brook trout, and are very easy to wade.  The Aluminé river, 20' from the River Lodge, offers the possibility of one or two days  float trip . These  waters  offer varied fishing conditions,  with runs, pools, and long productive  flats which are ideal for dry fly fishing.
We encourage fly fishing only and adhere to the principle of catch & release
Fishing Season starts in November and lasts until May (late spring, summer and fall in Argentina).
In early and late season we usually have chilly mornings and evenings but pleasant temperatures at mid-day. During mid-season we  generally experience cool mornings and evenings and warm to hot middays.

This traditional Patagonic "ESTANCIA", limits the border with Chile in the middle of the Andes Mountains. This "Estancia" was founded by the present owner's grandfather in the early 1900's, receiving guests since 1984. What we are offering is a personalized service for guests, wanting them to feel at home. The estancia serves gourmet homemade meals, complemented by superb Argentinean wines. The estancia has been set up in order for our guests to stay in three different houses.

"The River Lodge'': Lies on the banks of the Quillén River, some 10' from the "Lake Lodge", It is situated very close to the river and is a fine spot to start fishing only few meters from the house

Our lake lodge is set in a fascinating sylvan landscape, enjoying a view of the majestic now-extinct volcano, Lanín. The family house overlooks Lake Quillén, with its own dock, and is surrounded by beaches, old woods and  rocks.
