Bob is a National STANIC GAIA Coach and has recently had articles published in the Field under ‘Master Casters’ and in the exploitation of Salt water Fly Fishing on our coastline for Sea Bass in Sea Angler magazine in 2004, and TV and video appearances with Matt Hayes recently in Norway for Salmon for his new World Venues TV series, and with Paul Young  (Hooked on Fishing series) fishing for Sea trout at night and Sea Bass, and a separate Sky broadcast catching Pike on the Fly.  We cover all Saltwater species from Tarpon, Marlin to lowly Mullet, Pollack and Coalfish. An ardent professional he has concentrated on providing a solid basis for beginners, improvers and advanced fishers to improve and ensure structured understanding of the specific quarry, and in coaching allowing the pupil to be able to deliver the best and most effective cast possible for the situation along with the correct fly or lure for the conditions. Salt water courses as Trout course cost, covering loan of all equipment, casting instruction, river craft, entomology on (Trout Grayling courses), knots, and general information to become an all round river or salt water - fisherman/woman.

Pike On the Fly –Northern Ireland, Wales Scotland and England

Northern Ireland Loch Erne, Guest Andy Nicholson, all methods and staying at stunning Belle isle Castle own, we take over the castle 4 day fishing 6 days total includes all meals accommodation and ferry costs from the UK. Luxury Pike fishing we had 27lb plus on fly last year and have re-bookings from the party of 2005.  

We have specific locations through out the UK depending on where the clinet would prefer.

Tackle Required

An 8/9 weight fly rod, with floating –Intermediate – fast sink lines wire trace and a reel with 100yds capacity 20lb backing and tippet weights for trace 20lb maximum will be fine, fly’s can be supplied but Contact Sport fish Winforton who have a good selection of off the shelf flies to buy.

Sea Trout  Salmon Wild Brown Trout – Wales

Location to suit (where the fish are, a varied and must course for the aspiring Sea-trout angler fishing will be at night and will be by fly, we have a variety of excellent rivers we can tackle but key is on understanding the behaviour of the fish through the evening and best chance to catch, method, and techniques will be critical to success.

Scotland - Salmon  Spey Casting Fishing Course

Salmon coaching and guiding, includes accommodation dinner and Breakfast and a wide selection of Tweed beats top or bottom of river (where Fish are). There are dependant on conditions excellent Lowland rivers with prodigious back end runs on the Rivers Nith, Cree, and Bladnoch to name three we can tailor a lower cost break due to reduced beat costs. Also we have September courses on the River Tay at lower cost.

Approximately £599 river Tay, Nith, Cree or Bladnoch and other rivers  The Tweed in high season on a top beat for 3 days and 4 nights is £1100 this includes (Dinner Bed and Breakfast Packed lunch) at a well-known hotel, in the region.

Pike Course.

Travel arrangements and accommodation.

You will be travelling by either ferry or plane, choice is yours by ferry, cost of ferry included from either Liverpool or Holyhead, sharing with 3 others, if by plane you need to get to Belfast City airport and hire a car to the Irish borders, otherwise we will drive you a five star luxury operation where we will have full use of the main house with its magnificent dining area and lounge, with our own chef who will prepare dinner bed and breakfast and a daily packed lunch.

If in any other part of the UK we can plan a specific itinerary to suit individual needs.
