There are several beautiful fly fishing rivers in the region of north-west B&H in radius of only 100 km. We offer you the best : Pliva, Una, Unac, Klokot, Ribnik and Sanica.
All these rivers are very rich in wild brown and rainbow trout and trophy grayling, which exceed all known size boundaries. All rivers in our offer are first class water quality and all locations are under FLY ONLY or CATCH & REALESE regime and represent real challenge.

The River  Pliva    
Location: west region of B&H
Spring: village Pljeva, near Šipovo
Characteristics: mountain river, 25-50 m wide and 0.5-3 m deep

...is surely one of the most beautiful fly fishing rivers in Europa.The river, with specific color and purity, together with all Pliva Region, makes the extra ordinary natural beauty. Pliva’s spring is in village Pljeva, 6 km upstream of Šipovo. The most beautiful part for fly fishing is from spot where river springs to centar of small town Šipovo – 5km long.
The River Pliva is very suitable for fly fishing. Has great population of grayling and brown trouts, especialy Pliva’s native grayling that reaches 60cm. Although you can easily see a shool of graylings you must know that you will be properly exhousted before you catch any because of Pliva’s clear water and plentiful nutrition they are extremely strong. That’s the reason why Pliva’s greyling represents significant trophy and desire of many fly fishers all around the world. Your patience and efforts shall be rewarded with a fight without quarter that could last for more than an hour because you must remember that you deal with absolutely wild fish and fight it with extra thin leader (0.10 – 0.12). The River Una    
Location: north-west region of B&H
Spring: near Donja Suvaja and Donji Lapac in Croatia
Characteristics: mountain river, 25-60 m wide and 0.5-2.5 m deep

...is mountain river with plentiful rapids, cascades and waterfalls. Una got it’s name during golden age of Roman Empire. The story tells us that when the first Romans saw it they said UNA – that means THE ONLY ONE. It realy was and is precious stone amoung the world natural inheritance.
At the upper river flow between Martin Brod and Kulen Vakuf at western part of B&H, there is a special fly fishing area rich in brown trout and greyling.
Every single fish caught is experience for itself because all the species are native and absolutely wild, and not rearly extremely large. It offers the best conditions for fly fishing using dry fly, nymphs and streamers.

The River Unac    
Location: north-west region of B&H
Spring: near Drvar
Characteristics: mountain river, cca 30 m wide and 0.5 - 4 m deep

...is a real representative of a mountain river – great water capacity and flow speed. It’s right tributary to Una and flows into it near Martin Brod. Upstrem of rivermouth Unac to Una is the best fly fishing location that are under the special fishing regime. Unac is very rich in big rainbow and brown trout. While fishing you can catch a lot of fish weight from 2 to 6 kg and that is the normal fish size for this river, but offten there are in some whirlpool many fish bigger than that (even up to 10 kg). You can easily find some greylings in the River Unac.
Trout can be caught using dry fly, nymphs and streamers – notice that fish is active all day on a dry fly and in the evening it reaches its maximum.

The River Ribnik    
Location: north-west region of B&H
Spring: Gornji Ribnik, some 20km from Ključ
Characteristics: medium mountain river, cca 30 m wide and 50-80 cm deep

... inhabited by grayling and brown trout. Very accessible for fly fishing. Hence it is very shallow you can walk through it at almost every place.
Ribnik is specialy rich in greyling which is very wild and extremly slick and makes 70% of all inhabitant. Please notice that Ribnik shall offer to all experienced fishermen more than 50 actions a day, and could be recomended to all that makes first fly fishing steps.

The River Sanica    
Location: north-west region of B&H
Spring: bootom of mountain Grmeč
Characteristics: medium mountain river,10-25 m wide and 0.50 - 4 m deep

...is left tributary to the river Sana, 12 km from Ključ. Very accessible for fly fishing and rich in grayling that makes 70% of total fish inhabitant, mostly longer than 45 cm and not rarly 60 cm. Besides grayling you can find brown trout. It is possible to catch a fish using dry fly and nymphs. Notice that fish is very active all day long especialy on dry fly.


First day:
