Kevin is your NZPFGA (New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association) registered guide which means you get a high standard, quality flyfishing experience. Kevin grew up in the Central South Island / Mackenzie District and shares years of experience with his guests. Kevin is a contributing writer to "New Zealand Troutfisher" and "Reel Life" magazines. The Kiwistyle of spotting and stalking wild rainbow & brown trout is what makes your fishing experience here exciting, challenging, and unique. Your guide, Kevin, specialises in spotting fish with a trained eye and puts you in the best position to try and fool these crafty trout with nymphs, dry flies, or emergers. Most rivers are accessed by 4WD and involve some walking, the degree depending on your fitness! Driftboat fishing is an option to get into those hard to access areas, or if mobility is an issue floating down a river can save a lot of walking.
We look forward to hearing from you and helping you plan a vacation of a lifetime.
Testimonials:
Kevin introduced us to the some special Kiwi techniques necessary for success. This is fishing by sight and if you don't have a good spotter like Kevin you are wasting your time. He picked us up at our hotel and provided everything we needed. My wife was a complete beginner and thanks to Kevin’s instruction is now completely addicted to fly fishing. His laid back style and knowledge of the area make Kevin an excellent choice for the beginner or expert. Highly Recomended!!!! Mr & Mrs. A.W., Maui, USA
Kevin was the most hospitable, dependable, and accommodating guide I've ever experienced. Michael Pack of Georgia
Sunshine, scenery, seclusion, big fish, Kevin will get you there.
