Sportfishing In Kona

Aloha! Founded in 1984, we have offered over 21 years of positive experiences using conventional tackle, light tackle, and/or saltwater fly fishing gear & is fun for the entire family. Tag and release is encouraged for all billfish. Fishing in Kona is very special. Each trip has the opportunity to catch large blue marlin, striped marlin, short-nosed spearfish, yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi, ono, and an occasional sailfish.

Saltwater fly-fishing is the fastest growing blue water sport in Hawaii. While not for the faint of heart, using fly fishing tackle to catch our fish takes the challenge to a much higher level.

Sportfishing In Kona - Kona is famous for calm waters and BIG fish. Within minutes of the harbor anglers have the opportunity to catch Blue Marlin and Striped Marlin, Short-nosed Spearfish, Large Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Skipjack Tuna, and an occasional Sailfish . Kona is a very special place!

Over the past three years we have been in the top five Kona charter boats in fish tagged and released. We also offer custom taxidermy work for those anglers who desire to mount their fish (which can also be done for tagged fish).
The boat is a comfortable, fast, tournament equipped vessel. Built in Hawaii, designed to fish Hawaiian waters, she is powered by twin Cummins Turbo diesels. State of the art electronics along with Penn International Tackle complete the package.
