Self Catering Guided Pike Package

The package includes:

·Self Catering in Abbey Chalets
·6 Days Pike Angling led by Professional Guide
·Boats fully equipped with engines, rod holders, fishfinders, etc.
·Petrol for boats

Guided Fishing:
On all fishing days the clients will be guided by professional pike guide.
Bodo is a Failte Ireland approved angling guide and he holds the Marine and Country Side Guiding Certificate. He has fished for pike in these waters for many years and will do his utmost to put you on the fish.
When guiding groups of more 4 or more persons, 2 anglers will be in the boat with the guide and others follow in additional boats. This is best done by rotating anglers during the week, so everybody gets to fish with the guide at least once. We may also decide at our own discretion to employ one or two more guides to cater for larger groups.

Self Catering Guided Pike Package - Our base is in Boyle, Co. Roscommon in the North-West of Ireland, a region with an abundance of excellent angling opportunities.

Dublin: 170km, Galway 110km, Knock:51km, Shannon: 190km, Sligo:40km, Rosslare: 270km.

During your stay you will fish on a variety of good pike waters.
Most fishing will be done from our boats, whereby all safety equipment will be supplied.
Some of the methods we employ are: Spinning & trolling lures and baits, jerkbaiting, fly-fishing for pike and more.
The guide will always make recommendations as to what might work best, while also considering your own fishing preferences and abilities.

Please note:
We practice a strict Catch & Release policy with all pike!

3 x 2 storey houses, mews type, nestled in 12th century Boyle Abbey grounds on owners property. Within walking distance of Boyle town and beatuiful Lough Key Forest Park. All houses have bath with shower, Kitchen, Living room and two bedrooms. Each house caters for up two three persons.
