As with the 1 week fishing tour you will be greeted at the airport and returned to the Villa to freshen up. You have chosen the daddy of all fishing holidays! In addition to all the services in package 1 We will also be taking you onto to some of the less well known fishing destinations in Thailand as mentioned  on our unexplored fisheries page. Your package includes a minimum of 6 days fishing Bungsam Lan, and up to 5 days fishing at other locations.



There are as many as 400 Freshwater fishing destinations in Thailand, and we never cease to be astonished how little is known about many of these fisheries outside of Thai Circles. Only recently we found ourselves at a very small lake in the far north of only a few acres, and typically 6ft deep, it seemed very unlikely to contain any large fish. How wrong we were! In 1 days fishing we caught 3 Giant Siamese Carp to 43kg! However there is only one guarantee if we venture into the unknown together, and that is Fun! If this is not for you, don't worry! Siam Fishing Safari 14 Days 13nights - A day at Bungsam Lan



Bung Sam Lan Lake is quite possibly the most unique fishery  on the planet. This amazing fishing venue, currently holding 10 IGFA world records, is tucked away down a very inconspicuous and sleepy soi (side street), away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok life. When you first role up to the entrance of this fishing paradise you could be forgiven for wondering whether you have found the right place. But as you walk through the covered walkway entrance, collect your bait, and wonder out onto the decked walkways that follow the perimeter of the lake, you are presented with a Shangri-La type vision. Although hard to describe Bung Sam Lan as "pretty" it has a rustic quaintness that will grow on you as the day passes. The first thing that many anglers notice as they look across the lake, is the heaving, boiling surface. Everywhere you look fish are topping, and upon closer inspection, these are not just ordinary fish....some seem as big as Dolphins! Some are as big as Dolphins! This immediately sets your heart racing, and its hard to contain your excitement as you make your way around the lake to your swim. Strolling briskly now around to your fishing spot, a bungalow on stilts, your eyes will be scanning for other anglers to see if they are getting any action. First you see one, seems to be doing battle with a big fish, and then as you pan round the waters edge you see another and another all playing big fish. By now most anglers are asking themselves "Is this place for real?" The atmosphere is then added to by an almighty crash as a 200LB Arapaima pounces on its prey. By the time you reach your bungalow, you will be shaking with anticipation!



All around this lake, you will hear the warm laughter and conversation of Thai anglers, content in their day as they and their friends catch fish after fish after fish. Sitting around on their pontoons in large groups sharing food, beer and smiles.



Your guide will have your rods set up in a jiffy, he casts your first bait of the day..............to discover what happens next, you really have to be here!



Remember, your day will be relaxed from the start because your accommodation is just minutes away from the lake, no forced early starts (The fish feed day and night), No troublesome journeys thru Bangkok traffic....just a short stroll with your guide, and you are fishing!  




Into the Provinces

       Of course if you want to explore Thailand's other fishing destinations with us, then some travelling is required, Khao Lam Dam and the other areas we fish range anywhere from 50KM to 300KM away. But once again we will never forget you are on holiday, so as much as is practically possible we organise our departure times to suit the group we are taking. This usually means departing before midday, but once again if the group is keen, we can depart early! But know one is forced into going, and if you want to stay and fish at Bungsam Lan you will be able too carry on in the manner described above! It really is that simple. No fuss no stress, just a relaxed time fishing the way you like it.



At our other destinations you will be able to fish a range of different styles depending on your target species. Most people like to give the lure fishing a try for the Snakeheads, which can provide exhilarating vicious and visible takes. Compare it to highly active lure fishing for Pike at home, and your starting to get an idea what to expect. Most of the areas we fish in Kanchanaburi are described as areas of outstanding natural beauty by holiday companies, and it's true. A highlight of fishing out here is the peace, solitude and tranquillity you will experience, as well as settling down in the evenings in your floating, or lakeside accommodations, listening to the sounds of nature.

Its often said when buying a property, the over-riding consideration should be location. Your hosts felt that in fact this is also true when selecting a fishing holiday. After all it would be a rather inconvenient matter to be on a fishing holiday but be staying in a hotel, where there's no water around for miles, just skyscrapers! That's how some of our competitors operate. We are different.

Your hosts took great care in selecting a house that was ideally situated for it's purpose to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Less than 10 miles from the airport, less than 10 minutes walk to the lake (we can drive you the 300yds if you wish!) less than 10 miles from central Bangkok, but with easy access to the highways taking us out west to the Provinces.



As a result we have made our fishing holiday offer a whole lot more convenient for the serious angler, and considerably lower cost to boot!



Although Bung sam Lan is by no means the only fishing destination in Thailand, it is without a doubt the one that nearly every visiting angler wants to experience first, and since we are right on BungSam Lan's doorstep your typical days fishing could not be easier.

Brush Your teeth (optional)

Grab a coffee, a slice of toast and your guide will have your rods all ready.

Close the door behind you! Stroll 10 minutes to the lake.

Fish Until you cannot handle anymore

Thank your guide, and inform him when you want to start the following day.

Walk 10 minutes back home!



      How does that sound? Of course we can enforce a strict regime on you if you would like us to, drag you out of bed at an ungodly hour into a waiting vanload of sweaty people, battle with the Bangkok traffic etc etc...but we just felt that this was nicer, after all, most of us expect to do the hard work on the banks of our intended destination, not before we get there!
