The Ifjord mountain plateau is 35 000 square miles, which gives us plenty of space to tumble around. Here one can walk around for weeks without seeing others than oneself.

We are sorry to say that Ifjord require that you are in a minimum of physical shape, you don't have to be an athlete but you have to be able to do a 10-15 km walk without getting a heart attack. This is a big area, four wheel drives and helicopters are banned, so we walk.

Ifjord is tough wilderness, there are no roads, no communication…… -nothing, just a 35 000 square miles plain and hundreds of lakes, and a few mosquitoes.

Ifjord has got plenty of lakes and small rivers to explore. Most lakes hold both trout and char in fine size and some lakes hold really big fish. Ifjord is absolutely a good choice for those who prefer the delicate fisheries.
A light single hand rod and gnat imitations gives lots of joy up there. We of course have a few favorite spots, let's just say that 3-4 pound char is in plenty and we will tell you the rest when you arrive.

At the Ifjord Plateau we are going to sleep in tracking tents.

The season starts 1st July and ends 15th of August.
