The lakes, one is 4 1/2 acres the second over an acre are full of Carp, Roach and Perch.  The Carp (Mirror, Leather, Common) are now reaching 40lbs +.  

We have great Carp Fishing in France all located in  in the beautiful Limousin region nestled in 11 acres of private landscaped grounds.

This is the perfect villa holiday location offering a fabulous family holiday and a great 'get away from it all' retreat.

There is plenty of room for the children to enjoy themselves and you can enjoy as much fishing as you like.....day or night.

Although we are situated in the idyllic village of Miarlet  -  we are the only property in the village - we are only 40 mins away from Clermont Ferrand and its Ski-ing, Chic town and great shopping.

Closer to home is the historic village of Merinchal which is a few minutes drive and has all facilities.  Here also you can see the 'Source of the Cher' and there is a fabulous Quad Bike centre which is a lot of fun for all the family.

Set in 11 acres of landscaped grounds in the beautiful Limousin countryside.

It offers peace and tranquillity of rural France together with some of the best big Carp Fishing in France.

All your shopping needs are catered for in the local village. There is a Bakers, Greengrocers, Butchers, Grocery Store, Hairdressers, Tourist Office. Resturant.

Also in the village: Football Pitch, Tennis, Basketball. Chateau.  Quad Bike Track.

Further afield are Clermont Ferrand (40 mins) with its Chic Shopping and of course the Ski-ing. In the opposite direction is Aubusson which is 25 mins drive. This is a large historic town with museums and great shopping and resturants.

Gueret is an hours drive which has some great shopping.

Clermont Ferrand airport is 40mins away.

Limoges airport is 90 mins away.

Calais approx 7hrs drive.


Carp Fishing Lakes

Two Fully Stocked Lakes.

Spring Lake it 4 1/5 acres and is stocked with Carp (Common, Mirror & Leather) Roach & Perch.

Wood View Lake is just over an acre and it too is stocked with Carp.

Our Carp have been specially selected for their fast growth rate, namely the Royale Mirror strain, and C4 and C5 strains of  carp.

There is ample room around both lakes to pitch your Bivvies.


The lakes are spring fed with a silt bottom, with depths ranging from 2ft-8ft and snag free.

New for Summer 2007 Outdoor Above Ground Swimming Pool

Our holiday villa offers truly luxury accommodation sleeping up to 8/10 people and has been refurbished with a mix of traditional and contemporary furniture and fittings. Our aim is to offer the convenience of modern living whilst keeping the ambience of the traditional French lifestyle.

A large lounge with quality leather sofas and chairs, 42" Plasma TV with satellite stations, stereo with tape deck and CD player, DVD player.

There is a stunning Granite fireplace with real log fire (logs are provided for you) and a superb oak mantelpiece. A high Oak beamed ceiling really gives this room the feeling of French living. Three sets of French doors lead out onto the terrace with the breath taking lake views.

The dining area has seating for eight and views onto the lake.

The kitchen has a gas cooker/hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee peculator, toaster etc.

On the ground floor there are three double bedrooms, two with fitted wardrobes. Two of the bedrooms have French doors out onto the terrace and views over the lake. Also on the ground floor you will find the family bathroom with bath and shower. Separate toilet.

The stairs to the first floor leads you to the fourth bedroom, which has an en-suite. This very spacious room has a luxurious king size bed and has a stunning view over the garden and lakes. We are able to add an extra single or double bed in this room if needed.

There is a large selection of books, puzzles and games for you to use plus a selection of cds and dvds.

Outdoors you will find a large terrace with quality wooden dining furniture, sun loungers, hammock to take advantage of all that sunshine and stunning views. A gas barbecue for you to use, as well as outside lighting and a patio heater should you need it in the cooler months.

Of course that is not all....along with your villa you have exclusive use of Woodview Lake and Woodview Lake.

Woodview Lake is approx. an acre and is suitable for 2/3 anglers and is packed with Carp and has plenty of room for you to pitch your bivvy (these are available to hire).

Spring Lake is over 4 acres and up to 5 anglers are permitted. There are some big Carp in this lake, Mirror, Leather and Commons.
