Package Details and Information:

The sun's just rising. Throw off your stern line, throw off your bow. You head out to the channel, past the Bullnose, Noah's Ark. Past the golf course with the crooked trees. Take one last look at Simonstown, put in a radio call to "Pengiun". Then the birds show up. Cormorants, Gulls, Petrels and Terns. The sun hits you, head South, open up to 24knots, you're steaming now. The guys are busy, you're charged up. You know what? You're a goddam sportsfisherman! Is there any thing better in the world?

World Class deep sea fishing off Cape Point and False Bay is good at almost any time of the year. Yellowfin and Longfin Tuna as well as Yellowtail, Cape Salmon, Cape Snoek, Kob and the occasional Dorado and Atlantic Big Eye Tuna. Although not common, at certain times of the year it is possible to catch marlin and swordfish.

Our fishing captain has been fishing offshore for many years and knows where and how to catch these fish. Our brand new custom 28' deep sea charter fishing boat Ama Feesh offers a large fishing deck area. This offshore fishing charter boat is rigged for fishing as well as comfort, and easily accommodates up to 6 fishing anglers, with the latest engines, equipment and toilet facilities aboard. What this means is a much faster and more dependable boat to get us out fishing offshore and more importantly where the fish are!

Being a hotspot the waters around Cape Point have earned a reputation for Big Game Deep Sea Fishing. Yellowfin Tuna generally range from 50 to 100kgs Longfin Tuna range from 4 to 35kgs Large Yellowfin Tuna will test your stamina psychically and mentally, sometimes taking several hours to boat. Yellowtail, Kob and Cape Salmon are generally in the 5 to 16kgs class, while Cape Snoek can reach up to 8kgs and provide excellent sport on light tackle

Whale watching is also on offer in the famous False Bay where many of the Southern Right Whales are returning to the bay to calve appearing as early as July and peaking during the months of September to November. Seals, Dolphins and Penguins can be seen throughout the year. There is a large variety of birdlife including Cormorants, Gannets, Albatross, Petrels, Terns and Gulls.

All charters and sea cruises are ably managed and organised by your hosts Gwain and Cathy.
