Grayling Experience

Fly fishing for the forth game fish, Grayling. We will fish dry flies, bugs and north country spiders. If conditions dictate we shall trott using centre pin reels.

No experience is required as we shall even teach you how to cast. All of our instructors are qualified, insured professionals who know the river intimately. It is what we do throughout the year.

All tackle including chest waders can be provided if required. You are welcome to bring your own equipment.

Grayling Experience - River Annan S.W. Scotland. The Annan is situated at the eastern end of the Solway Firth.

Glasgow airport is 90 minutes away. Carlisle is 22 minutes. Travel couldn't be easier with the M6 and A74(M) all within eight miles. Machester is two and a quarter hours.
The river Annan holds specimen grayling. Fish of 2lbs are common and fish over 3lbs are caught regularly.

We shall select beats according to your experience and wading ability. The wading is generally considered to be easy and two of our favourite beats can only be termed very easy.
