I will tailor the package to your needs and offer as much advise as I can and make your day one to be remembered.

Tackle can be provided and also Waders if required, information on flies required will be given to you on booking.

Pick up and drop off from Glasgow International Airport can be arranged for a maximum of 4 persons by myself.

River Clyde Scotland Fishing Trips - River Clyde, Lanarkshire Scotland. In the heart of the beautiful Clyde Valley some of the best trout fishing can be had in Scotland. With many good hotels and garden centers the Valley can be a busy place, but get to the river and you could be miles away from anywhere, sometimes not seeing another angler for the entire season. There are some 20+ miles of fish able river to choose from.

The River Clyde is a world famous river, with its own unique strain of trout that I have to say are some of the most beautiful brown trout I have ever seen, with small speckled spots they are almost marble like. This is the river where the Clyde Style wet fly became famous and practiced world over, so come on get some of that history and catch some beautiful fish into the bargain.

What you will be fishing for is manly Brown Trout and with some huge Grayling also, but the browns are the mainstay of the river. There is also salmon in the river and sea-trout but the main parts where we will fish do not contains those due to the falls of Clyde.

Within 40 mins to both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Fishing Available on the River Clyde, Tweed, Tummel, Tay and Earn, as for details of other rivers.
If the Clyde is too high or dirty to fish then any of the above rivers will be considered and alternative by prior arrangement.

Accommodation can be arrange for clients dependent on their requirements but all will be local and all will be selected by myself. Anything from B&B to country side hotels. This can be discussed on the first contact with the booking.
