This is a Fly-Fishing package, for 6 nights accommodation on a Half Board basis including a complimentary bottle of wine.The prices shown are on an individual basis, for a group of 4, or 6. (please note fishing licence is not included).

The farm can organize for guests to have their catch vacuum packed, or smoked.

We can organize pack lunches, or point you in the direction of the bars and restaurants dotted along the Idrijca river.

Fly-Fishing In The Idrijca - Fisherman's Retreat, 5 minutes walk from the Idrijca River, famous for it's very large Marble Trout!
Tilnik is a small village of four houses, situated on a ridge with views of the Idrijca river valley and Porezon Mountain.
The village is surrounded by wild hay meadows, fruit trees and forest, with a stream flowing through the middle.
This is a working farm run by a British couple Brett and Kate who re-located to Slovenia in 2005. They bought the main farmhouse of the village, a typical Slovene stone building (for curing salami's and prosciutt), large barn, and 13 hectares of fruit trees, grassland and forest.
The overall aim is to have a self-sufficient enterprise combining eco-tourism with environmentally friendly farming, including animals(sheep, goats and chickens, providing fresh eggs, dairy and meat), a vegetable garden, organic hay meadows and renewable fuel(firewood, hydro electric and solar powered energy).
The farmhouse has been renovated and divided into two, spacious, luxury apartments sympathetically restored and in keeping with the original building. One Apartment is available for guests on a self- catering basis, or it can be part or fully catered from home produced farm delicacies.
For relaxation and recuperation, Kate is a Professional Sports Massage Therapist with a selection of massages on offer to guests.

This is a 16th Century Farmhouse of local alpine style. Internally it has been renovated to a high standard of accommodation with modern facilities.
