Salmon Fishing  
Esparanza Inlet, located on the Northwest side of Nootka Island, offers some of the best Chinook and Coho salmon fishing on Vancouver island. With my experience as a fishing guide, we will be where the fish are and with the right equipment. These Chinook Salmon can run from 20 to 50 pounds or more, while Summer Coho will run 8 to 20 pounds and full of fight. These Chinook and Coho Salmon are some of the best eating fish you will find anywhere.

Esparanza Inlet produces trophy Tyee Chinooks (30 lb. Plus) daily, from July to September. Fishing for Coho (Silvers) salmon is also great with light tackle. They start off light early in the summer, but can range upwards of 20 lbs. at the end of summer and into the fall months. Summer months are greatest times for these fish.

Boat & Equipment
22 ft. Eaglecraft Radar, GPS, Sounder, Laptop computer, washroom & heat. Coastguard Certified vessel.

Tackle includes two 60'' Scotty downriggers, four Gloomis mooching rods equipped with matching Islander mr2 mooching reels.
