Tim Twist only visit a country once for fishing, but after his first visit here, he´s been coming back year after year.

Ice fishing
You may have good ice fishing throughout the whole winter, but the best season for most of the species are from mid-March to mid-April.

People from further south in Europe usually think: Ice-fishing? No, too cold, but it´s not! The sun-side temperature in April may come up in more than +20 C. You also get a nice suntan because of the reflex from snow and ice that might get your neighbours to think that you´ve been to Thailand or something. In March and April we often have long periods with nice weather both for the fishermen and the fish, and the best way to go out to your fishing spot, is by dogsledge.

We pack our sleds in the morning with fishing gear, food etc and find a nice lake for the day.

Fishing and Sleddog tours in Sweden - Our Camp is a facility located nearby the National river "Vindelälven" with it’s untouched waters, not far from the two rapids called "Trollforsen" and "Bäckforsen". Our concept is to live in a wilderness and earthbound fashion.
We arrange activities such as dog sledding, ice-climbing, teambuilding, rafting, mountain climbing, fishing, searching for gold, etc.

The camp is located 40 km south east of Lycksele, 100 km north west of Umeå, and around two and a half hour north of Stockholm by flight.

We specialise in adventures and all kinds of events in the northern part of Sweden, offering very high quality products to small and medium-sized groups, 2-60 persons. We have our own wilderness camp, but we also work together with local hotels such as Hotel Lapland, icehotel Jukkasjärvi, Källan Spa, Vindelälvens Hotel etc.

For our corporate clients we can arrange conferences, teambuilding events, and we offer complete solutions for a perfect (and different !) day, or two, with us.

We are also able to assist you with your travel arrangements, whether it be by road, rail, or air.

And finally we must mention the renowned "Västerbotten" pantry, where you will find our menu comprises local game, berries and fish. Our local salmon is extremely popular, and once tasted, never forgotten!

By the riverside of the unspoiled Vindelälven, you´ll find our guest house. The house has 3 seperate bedrooms and a smaller room as well, kitchen, shower & WC, fully equiped with plates, glasses etc. Smoking not allowed!

The house is located perfect for a family or just some friends going on a vacation, filled with adventures and nature events.

In the village,, Ekorrsele, you´ll find rafting tours, fishing spots, sauna & hottubs, snowmobile safaris, dogsledding tours and much more.

You´re also just 25 minutes away from Lycksele with Zoo, shopping etc.
If you feel like visiting the biggest town in north Sweden, Umeå, you´ll find it not more then 75 minutes away.

Take the oppertunity to visit one of the nearby nature reservs, with our own favorite Mårdsele rapids, just 25 minutes ride from the house. The magic you´ll find there with the delta-land, white water and forests taken from a movie with Trolls and Goblins, it´s just breath-taking.
