Salmon Fishing Stuart Island Bc

This spring inlet special is for groups of anglers up to 18 people.  

Each boat will have three guests with the lodge's professional guide that will fish in Bute Inlet right behind Stuart Island.  Large schools of Chinook salmon will be following the annual herring spawn in Bute Inlet with lots of action.  Average Chinooks will be in the high teens and mid-twenties with some well over 30! Evening meals will include fresh Dungeness crab, oysters, clams and mussels from the inlet.  An extra is the wildlife viewing of bears, eagles and whales as you fish.

Fishing is from 25' covered cruisers including professional guides, tackle, license, bait and fish handling.  Salmon can be found anywhere from 60-150' below the surface with downriggers a necessity.  Using medium weight fly rods with single action reels provides exciting action especially when the fish over 30 lbs. get hooked!
Other trips available throughout the season ending in October.  This lodge is known as "The Premier Fishing and Exploration Lodge in British Columbia!"  

With three daily seaplanes to the dock from Seattle, this trip has easy access to the best salmon fishing on the west coast.

The lodge is home to many Fortune 500 companies that use it for their client entertainment. Cedar rooms include queen beds and private bathrooms. Our noted chef features local seafood banquets each dinner and can select a menu with you prior to arrival.
