Idaho Fishing for Steelhead

1-day driftboat trips for salmon and steelhead fishing. Two people per boat. Rate per person includes all gear, lunch, shuttle, and 8 hours of fishing. Three people can be accommodated who wish to fish together in the same boat. (discount available).

All trips are located in the vicinity of Riggins, Idaho.

Idaho Fishing for Steelhead - Lower Salmon River near Riggins, Idaho. This is about a 3 hour drive north of Boise via Hwy 55 to hwy 95) and about 2.5 hours south of Lewiston via Hwy 95.

Riggins is known by two prominent distinctions: the whitewater capital of Idaho, and the Salmon and Steelhead capital of Idaho.
Steelhead season begins to heat up in mid February and should be very good this season until March 31, when it closes.  The fall season begins early September and can be combined with chukar hunting.

Salmon season is questionable. Fisheries analysis is not yet complete.  If conditions warrant a season, we will offer trips. TBA sometime this spring. Or, give us a call.

Many nice motels in our area and free camping along the river, at beautiful sites. (second deepest canyon in North America. Views are stunning.

Steelhead season on the Salmon River in Idaho runs from Jan 1 to March 31, 2007 for spring fishing. Fall season begins in September.

Salmon season: TBA, (sometime this spring) if there will be one. Normally the season is mid April to mid June.

25 % deposit for advance bookings. Balance due 30 days prior to trip departure date. Full payment for all trips less than 30 days of departure date.
