We are a professional licensed and insured fly fishing guide service. We provide some of the best trout fishing trips in Western North Carolina, Tennessee, and some of the best Smallmouth bass fishing in North Carolina and Virginia. Take a fly fishing adventure with us.
FLOAT TRIPS:
Our fly fishing float trips are all taken in the comfort of a Hyde drift boat. The trout fishing guide trips are done on the tail waters of the Watauga, and the South Holston Rivers in Tennessee TN. We float the New River in North Carolina NC and Virginia VA for smallmouth bass. If you are looking for gift ideas we also offer gift certificates for all our trips. We provide all the fly fishing equipment and food for the day; however, there will be fly fishing extras you need to bring.
WADE TRIPS:
Our wade trips can be done in the Smoky Mountains or Blue Ridge Mountains. You can pick between stocked trout streams or native wild trout streams. The secluded backwoods do require a hike, so if you choose to fish for native wild trout, plan accordingly. We provide all the fly fishing equipment and food for the day; however, there will be fly fishing extras you need to bring. If you are looking for gift ideas we also offer gift certificates for all our trips.
TIMES & RENDEZVOUS POINT:
We like to be on the water fishing by 10:00 AM. We are based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. We can reach the furthest trout waters that we fish in 2 hours 45 minutes and usually leave the Charlotte area no later than 7:00 AM. Keep in mind, we will accommodate your needs. We are off the waters by 5:00 PM on most trips.
Since we are based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, we are always heading west for our trips. If you live:
In Charlotte-we can pick you up if you would like
East of Charlotte area-we usually meet at a designated point in Charlotte
West of Charlotte area-we can determine a convenient rendezvous point
MEALS:
The following meals are included with your price:
Breakfast-fast food restaurant of your choice on the way to our destination. Lunch-Deli sandwiches, snacks and drinks, including water

Fishing Watauga River or Blue Ridge Mountains - There is nothing finer than catching lunker brown and rainbow trout on the tailwaters of the South Holston or Watauga River or sneaking up a pristine stream in search of native brook trout in the Smoky Mountains or Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.
The guide trips on the Watauga River, the South Holston River in Tennessee and the New River in Virginia and North Carolina are great for the large corporate groups.
We can accommodate large groups up to 20 people. When doing a large group or corporate trip, we use several guides making it a better ratio of guides to clients. So, if you're looking for either trout fly fishing or smallmouth fly fishing for a large corporate group or just a big group of friends, we can get you started catching fish on these big rivers with room for everyone.
