Steelhead Fishing in Oregon

My name is Dan.
I was born and raised in Gresham, Oregon and have been fishing Oregon's rivers for over 25 years. With these roots I have been enjoying the greatness and beauty of the Pacific Northwest all of my life. From the days on the water, and in the field, with my Father, to the great time I am now having sharing the wonderful things Mother Nature has to offer with my beautiful wife and two great sons. The Pacific Northwest is truly a wonderful place to be.

Many fisherman feel that pound for pound Steelhead are the hardest fighting fish there is.

December through April is prime Steelhead time. Come float one of our beautiful rivers for these chrome beauties. Fighting one weighing from 6 lbs. to 20 lbs. is a thrill you won't forget. Limit is 2 hatchery fish per day (wild fish must be released).

Winter Steelhead are my favorite fish. They are a hard fighting fish with many acrobatic jumps which will keep you on your toes.

When you go fishing with me I will show you how to catch these wonderful fish. Whether we are drift fishing, jig fishing, side drifting or pulling plugs on a local river, you will have a great adventure.

Our 23 foot sled can take up to 6 clients, and are 17 foot drift boat can take up to 3 clients.

We work closely with other guides. So if your party is more lthen 6 let me know and I can get as many guides as needed for your trip.

Steelhead Fishing in Oregon - Northwest Oregon Guided fishing trips. Columbia, Willamette, Sandy, Clackamas, plus North coast streams and bays.
You will need to ing:
A valid Fishing License and Salmon/Sturgeon tag, rain gear, water resistant shoes or boots, a hat, sunscreen, camera, and any food and drink you will want on the trip. Dress in layers, as it can be very hot and cold in the same day!

Most of my out of town clients stay at the Comfort Inn in Troutdale Oregon. It is close to the fishing and is a fine Hotel.
