Experience the Swedish crocodile - The Pike

Few fish are surrounded by such mystique as the pike. Tales are told of pike that have grabbed dogs swimming in the water, that have bitten the toes of swimmers, and of pike that love to lurk in the reeds! in the shallow waters of the peaceful lakes and rivers of Swedish Lapland.

Some of the stories are true: for example the pike really does take seabirds when it can, and it can often be found in the reeds, and it really is a savage predator that eats everything it can; but it leaves alone both people and dogs. In the forests of Norrbotten, just an hour our way from Luleå, there is pike fishing unlike any other angling that most people have ever experienced.

The magic question ”when where how” still needs to be answered however. Once you are here, we will guide you to some of the best pike waters in Norrbotten. Our years of experience have given us more expertise than most anglers about the habits of the pike.

We recommend a firm grip on the rod.

Transport
We meet you off the plane at Kallax airport in Luleå for transfer to the Hotel in Boden. The trip to the hotel takes approximately 45 minutes. Having arrived, you will have time to unpack, eat, find your feet etc.

Once you are ready, we meet to run through your angling days and your adventure begins.

Extraordinary sea fishing can be enjoyed in the north of Norway, as well as fantastic nature and an unbelievable fishing resource in fjords, lakes and sea.

Persons participating do so entirely at their own risk. In certain cases, trips make demands on the participant’s physical and mental condition. It is the responsibility of each participant to take out travel insurance covering his or her person and property. Participants are advised to review their home insurance.

It is the responsibility of the participant to observe applicable customs and currency regulations. For the duration of the stay, it is the responsibility of the participant to arrive at the agreed place and time for a transfer and to follow directions given by persons in a position of responsibility. Extra costs arising from participants missing agreed transfers will not be borne by us.

Responsibility for the group during all our trips lies with the designated guide on the spot. It is the responsibility of the participant to listen and to comply with instructions given by the guide for the participant’s safety.
