6 day Fishing Safari in Thailand

Day 1:

Your guides will meet you at Bangkok International Airport and transport you to a 3 star hotel where your room will be waiting.
The guides will then be available if you should want any assistance regarding sight seeing, shopping, restaurants and nightlife.


Day 2:

8.00 AM pick up from the hotel and transport to Bungsam Lan Lake.
Your chance to catch the largest freshwater fish in the world, Giant Mekong Catfish plus Arapaima, Pacu, Striped Catfish, Giant Siamese Carp, Rohu and several other tropical freshwater species.

End of fishing and minibus transport to Si Sawat at 5.00 PM.

Arrival at the camp in Si Sawat approx. 9.00 PM.


Day 3:

8.00 AM departure from camp-site on the house-boat. Fishing, snorkeling, swimming, all up to you.


Day 4:

Fishing, snorkeling, swimming, all up to you.


Day 5:

Fishing during the day and return to camp-site at 4.00 PM. Minibus transport back to the hotel in Bangkok.

Arrival at the hotel in Bangkok approx. 8.00 PM.


Day 6:

Check out from the hotel and transport to Bangkok International Airport.

NOTE: We do not provide casting/spinning lures free of charge at Si Sawat.
As Srinakharin Lake is loaded with substructures it is up to the individual angler’s expertise to retrieve them.

We do provide a selection of casting lures on the boat at reasonable pricing for those that want them.

6 day Fishing Safari in Thailand - River Kwai, Thailand.
Experience the power and strength of some
of the world's biggest and toughest fighting freshwater fish, which can be found in the Thai countryside not far from Bangkok.

These species include: Giant Mekong Catfish
(the largest freshwater fish in the world), Pacu,
Arapaima and Giant Siamese Carp.

In addition to this you will also be fishing one of the largest, and most beautiful lakes in Thailand, Srinakharin Lake, located near Kanchanaburi in the west of Thailand.

You may recognize the name Kanchanaburi as it is the closest city to the area made famous by the movie “Bridge Over The River Kwai”.

Most people have heard about the River Kwai, but what they haven’t heard about, is the fantastic fishing that can be experienced here.

Large Toman (Giant Snakehead), Featherback, Rohu and Hampala Barb are abundant and these ferocious fighters will test any angler’s skills.

All in all: A freshwater fishing safari, in nothing less then a piece of Paradise!!!

The Bangkok Hotel:

The Royal Pacific Hotel is within easy access to downtown Bangkok with both the business and shopping districts close by. All rooms have air conditioning, cable TV, radio, telephone and mini bar.

Hotel facilities include: restaurant, 24-hour café and room service, pub, disco, swimming pool, fitness center, snooker hall, massage and karaoke.


The House-boat:

While at Si Sawat you will be fishing aboard your own private house boat. Each house boat has radio and G.P.S. on board for navigation. They can accommodate 4 to 6 adults comfortably in separate cabins with queen size beds. Facilities include: One or two toilet and  showers, all table ware and cooking utensils along with BBQ, DVD, TV, stereo, fans, sun chairs, masks and snorkels. As usual all fishing tackle with the exception of casting/spinning lures (see note) is provided, along with your English speaking fishing guide.
