The Vaal River is one of the countries main rivers and home to the slabs of gold known as yellowfish...hard fighting fast swimming fish, that readily take a fly!
Also wild river trout amongst some of the most spectacular scenery in the world!

Yellowfish are mostly caught using nymphing techniques, but they also take dry-flies in certain conditions. The Largemouth Yellow is a predator and takes big flies with a vigour!

South Africa has some great stillwaters for trout and in the highlying rivers and streams, rainbow and brown trout are there to be stalked.

Tigerfish are found in the Northern areas of South Africa and are amongst the world's prized freshwater gamefish.

We offer anything from Luxury lodges to tented accomodation. We also have internationally qualified beauty technicians available that pamper those that do not want to fish. Beauty in the Bush is a must have experience!!

All year but best times are from late September until early March for yellowfish and March until August for wild trout!
