Connecticut Saltwater Fly Fishing Charter

We follow fish for a living. We think like fish we eat like fish and sometimes we even smell like fish.  

To get you thinking, eating (and possibly smelling) like a fish, Capt. Koopmann has started the Introduction to Saltwater fly fishing charter and lesson. This 5hr seminar and fishing trip starts with a 1hr (one on one) casting clinic, followed by a 4hr boat trip to the Norwalk Islands most productive areas. Personalized instruction will have you hooking up in no time.

Our season starts in early May and ends in late December. We fish from NJ to RI and everywhere in-between. No fish is safe! Our home territory is the Norwalk Islands and we fish it HARD. Knowing all the great spots to hook monster fish on the fly. We can tailor a trip just right for you. Our trailer able boat gives us the added advantage of quickly relocating to the fishing epicenter.  

In Early May the Connecticut and the Housatonic Rivers are our main targets. Both of these rivers have great runs of herring and shad that attract the big bass earlier than any other spot along the coastline of CT. The fishing is awesome. By the end of May the bass have settled in around the Norwalk Islands and the north shore of Long Island. Our home port is the Five Mile River in Rowayton. All Season Marina offers of the best strategic location from which to access the best fly fishing in Fairfield CT. If the best fishing happens to be on the Long Island coastline a short 20 minute (from the dock) drive could put us in Cold Spring or Huntington harbor.  

The Eastern end of CT is the place to be for truly epic adventure. The Race, Plum Gut, Sluiceway, Fishers Island, and Watch Hill, RI. These areas are within a short ride from Niantic, CT. Mago Point Park boat launch. This becomes our second home port periodically throughout the season. 1 hours from Norwalk, CT
