Kayak Fishing Trips
01 Jun 2004 to 31 Oct 2004
Kayak Fishing is one of the fastest growing and best ways to catch fish that has come along in a while. Think about it. Quiet, shallow draft, able to get into an area a boat or canoe can't, very stable because of the low center of gravity, and less shadowing that can spook fish.
Get into areas where they are lots of fish but are inaccessible to a boat and to narrow for a canoe.
The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is a gold mine of Kayak fishing opportunities. Get in to the headwaters of rivers. Flowages, remote lakes, shallow areas in larger lakes, and even flats of the Great Lakes.
Our Kayaks are designed for fishing. Wide with open cockpits allow for storage of equipment. they all have rod holders for rod storage or trolling while you paddle.
These trips would be classified as Extreme Kayak Fishing Trips. Some portaging could be necessary.
We supply the kayaks, and fishing equipment, lunch, and transportation to the areas we will fish.
We'll be fishing for Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbows, Northerns and Smallmouth. Spincasting and Flyfishing.
You only need to bring a Fishing License, appropriate clothing, insect repellant.
