Flyfishing Scotland - Salmon Fishing - River Naver

The River Naver is rated as one of the best fly waters in Britain. It has six beats, and you change daily in rotation. The beats average three miles and you fish two rods. A ghillie is provided and is mandatory on this excellent fishing. A 15ft rod is the norm to cover this medium to large water. There is little walking required but chest waders are an advantage to cover the lies.

Day tickets are available on the local angling club beat just above Bettyhill. Generally you time your fishing outings according to the tides. Peter knows the hot spots. The River Naver catch figures are not published.
