By the end of April, bedding bass are found throughout the shallows.
May shows Alabama’s Lakes have stabilized, most lakes are back to full pool, after being lowered for the last 6 months for winter pool. The shallows display newly growing, aquatic weeds in full bloom. Big bass are hungry, both male and female bass species are recuperating from the rituals of spawning and feeding takes place throughout all of Alabama’s Lakes.
