Bow River Drift Boat Fishing

If a full day on the Bow River is not a possibility, our Half-Day Drift may be what you are looking for. This outing lasts four to five hours and will see you drift throught the southeast of the city.

Although this is an urban float, this stretch of the Bow is very productive and it is a favorite with local fishers. Much of the river here flows through parkland so you may see a variety of water fowl, beaver, deer, and even an occassional eagle.

Your guide will pick you up at your place of accommodation and if necessary, a stop will be made at a local shop where you can purchase your WIN Card and Sportfishing Licence. Upon arrival at the launch site you will gear up and discuss some of the strategies and techniques that you will be using.

Nymphing is the most successful method of fishing on the Bow but streamer fishing and dry fly fishing are also part of the routine. Stops may be made to allow you to spend time wading the river so you can more thoroughly fish the river's many seams, holes, and riffles.

We provide transportation to and from your place of accommodation, fly rods and reels, flies, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Waders and wading boots may be available from your guide.

This package is for one or two fishers.
