Loch And River Fishing In Scenic Scotland - Built in 1894, this imposing Victorian Sandstone house was a former Church of Scotland Manse set in a beautiful country location with magnificent views southwards over the Cromarty Firth. Situated as it is, it provides the tourist with an ideal base and easy travelling distance for exploring the northern area of Scotland as well as across to the West Coast and the Islands.

Many of the major east coast rivers are within a very short drive and there are 23 of Scotland's finest golf courses within easy reach—so for that elusive salmon or that memorable hole in one, visit us.

Dolphins, seals, eagles, osprey, and much more may be seen; combine this with clean air, bright skies and empty roads and you can share our little bit of paradise.

At differing times of the year there are really good opportunities to catch Salmon, Sea Trout, Sea Bass, Mackerel and many other species from Cromarty Firth or its rivers, some just yards from our front door

The house is surrounded by mature gardens with big old trees and masses of flowers and shrubs. There is comfortable wooden garden furniture for relaxing on those sunny days. When the weather is suitable, breakfast can be taken outside or in the conservatory.

With only 6 bedrooms, all named after local places, guests can enjoy peace and quiet and get away from the stresses of everyday life. From the time you walk through the front door into the magnificent hallway you can start to soak up the tranquillity of the house. There are fabulous views from all around the house, both from inside and outside.
