The two thirteen-foot rods – one of 3lb test curve and one of 3.5lb test curve take the Prodigy to the ultimate level. These are supreme casters, capable of reaching two hundred meter mark. Yet, they retain the versatility common to all the Prodigy range. You’ll find that the Prodigy 12’ 2.5lb rod is perfect for UK carping. However, move to the 2.75lb or even the 3lb test rods and you do have power in reserve for longer casts, snag fishing, big method feeders, big leads and heavy PVA bags.
