Greys G-Series Double Handed Salmon Fly Rod Description
Greys G-Series Double Handed Salmon Fly Rod
Everything that we’ve said about the G-Series single-handed rods applies to the exciting, new range of double-handers. Once again, though these rods have a ludicrously low price tag, we refuse to regard them as a beginners’ range alone.
The G-Series Double-handers are light, well-balanced, designed from tip to butt by the Greys product development team. The medium to fast action and high-quality blanks make them a forgiving rod but one that can master all overhead and spey casting techniques. The range features thirteen, fourteen and fifteen footers, carrying line weights from eight/nine to ten/eleven.
- All the thoughtful touches that you’d expect from a Greys product – graphite reel seat, superb finish and the Greys lifetime guarantee.
- Medium to fast action for all double-handed techniques.
“My hope is that the low price point for these Greys’ rods will bring more first time, double-handed users into the sport. If you’ve only used single-handed rods, it’s hard to imagine the casting length and line control that a longer rod can give you. Try the thirteen-footer for sea trout, for example, and you’ll be amazed at the way you can cover bigger rivers.” Andy Sowerby, Hardy & Greys International Sales
